Wilson Area Children’s Foundation

 

Wilson Area Children’s Foundation is a mission of Floresville United Methodist Church.

This 501c3 organization provides food, clothing and some home minor repair to families with children who are identified by the local school systems as in need.

Food is distributed both Thanksgiving and Christmas, toys are distributed at Christmas and annual Back to School clothing shopping is available in August at the beginning of school.

With the support of Floresville United Methodist Church and the local community and through its annual Golf Tournament, the Foundation also provides two scholarships to each high school in Wilson County for students who are entering post-secondary education toward a career technology occupation.
